Flying Solo (Singles)
Flying Solo is a group for singles in their prime years (more or less 60 and above) belonging to the life and ministry of Westminster Presbyterian Church. The group offers single adults the opportunity for Christian fellowship, spiritual and intellectual growth, and service to others. No reservation needed for our events, unless indicated. For more information, please contact Christine Hershey, Director of Seniors Ministries.
2023 Retreat
Building on her book about Westminster's response to the civil rights movement, Westminster's own Melynda Wilcox explores the factors that contributed to the different responses to matters of race in these two pastors and in their churches. This exploration may lead us to identify the people and experiences that have impacted our own faithful response to these issues. What has formed us, and in what ways are we being reformed?
