Meal-Packing Event
On Saturday, May 13, the Westminster Youth will be packaging 10,000 meals on behalf of Rise Against Hunger, an international hunger relief organization that distributes food and aid around the world. These meals are highly nutritious dehydrated meals comprised of rice, soy, vegetables, and 23 essential vitamins and minerals. They are used to support school feeding programs in developing countries. In previous years, Westminster-packaged meals have gone to Liberia and Honduras.
Hunger is the common thread among the world’s most challenging issues. Targeting hunger — specifically by supporting school feeding programs — leverages support to other causes including poverty, disease, education, and the welfare of women and children.Rise Against Hunger

We need your help! Sponsor us at a penny per meal to cover the cost of the meals. Any monies raised beyond the cost of the meals goes to support our summer mission trips to Philadelphia, PA and Fairbanks, AK.
