Amey Upton, Director of Adult Education

Amey has been a member of Westminster since 1985; she joined the staff in January 2015. Amey graduated from St. Lawrence University in upstate New York with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology & Sociology, and from Wesley Theological Seminary with a Master of Divinity in 2010. She worked in the non-profit arena for many years, including at the American Association of Homes for the Aging (AAHA) and the National Society for Autistic Children (NSAC). She also taught at the Westminster Weekday Preschool for many years. Amey has served on the Board of the Faith & Politics Institute and currently serves on the Board of death, dying, and bereavement center Lory’s Place in St. Joseph, Michigan. For the past several years, Amey has served as a Volunteer Chaplain at Alexandria INOVA Hospital.
